Our Story

In 1973, Chris Mark mowed lawns as a side hobby for his neighbors in Bourne, Massachusetts. This hobby quickly turned into a full-time job, and Chris soon employed his sons, Brian and Joshua, once they were old enough to work in the field. His wife Donna provided office help at home after she finished working her regular position at Falmouth Hospital.

Today, CMS is led by Brian and Joshua Mark. Many of our managers have been with the company for over a decade. Most of our seasonal crew returns year after year. That continuity matters — because your property deserves a team who knows it intimately, and cares for it like their own.
