What year did you start with CMS? About 1984
How did you get into this line of work? My dad made me… The family had bills to pay so dad put me to work! I pushed the middle bar of a 20” mower before safeties were invented.
Any education, certifications, licenses, or relevant training? A lot of on-the-job training and learning through mistakes! I studied at University of New Hampshire for a psychology degree and a focus on landscape. Massachusetts Certified Landscape Professional, Hoisting Engineer
What do you enjoy most about your work? I love the team aspect! I enjoy collaborating with the best minds and technicians in the region.
What’s a part of your work you take the most pride in? While it always make me smile to see crisp mowing stripes or a perfectly executed outdoor space, I take a lot of pride in watching the team grow both personally and professionally.
Favorite plant or flower? I gotta go with a tree… Stewartia pseudocamellia. A summer blooming tree with fascinating exfoliating bark for winter interest.
Outside of work, what do you enjoy? I enjoy hanging with my wife, Michelle, and kids, Jackson and Mae. Whether on the boat cruising Buzzards Bay, skiing in the mountains or just chilling doing a puzzle. I also enjoy playing golf if I’m playing well… which is rare.
What’s something only a Cape Cod local would understand? Cape Cod locals know we can’t really share this information… sorry!
